The 13th edition of "Art on Snow Gastein" will take place from February 1st to 7th, 2025. This unique art festival is one of the largest of its kind in the Alps and transforms the Gastein Valley into an art studio worth seeing.
Under this year's motto "Fairy Tales", artists of various styles present their works - these are spread across all Gastein ski areas and offer a winter open-air studio: Due to the weather and the building materials snow and ice, the works of art are constantly changing. At various daytime events you can watch the artists at work.
In 2025, a drive-through Sleeping Beauty Castle made of 54m³ of snow (6 meters wide, 3 meters deep and 3 meters high) will be built at the Spiegelsee on the Fulseck. Other highlights include the Frog Prince at the mountain station on the Stubnerkogel, Frau Holle at the Kasereben mountain station, Cinderella on the Schlossalm and the Golden Eagle in Sportgastein.
On February 3rd, 2025 at 11am there will be a get-together with those in charge and artists at Stubnerkogel, accompanied by DJ music.
